CRAFT DISPLAY AND DEMONSTRATION - An interesting Craft display and demonstration was held at the Terrace Bay High School Auditorium on Saturday, March Ist. There were fascinating displays of weaving, ceramics, woodworking, block printing, copper tooling, copper enamelling, copper jewellry, paper mache, rug hooking, candlemaking and others. Exhibited by members of the Lakehead and Area Craft Association, Nipigon Red Rock Craft and Local craftsmen. Demonstrations were given in woodcarving, by Mrs. Frank Potocnik, copper work by Mrs. Kozak and paper mache and rug hooking by Mrs. Tamblin. This display was arranged by the Recreation Committee Director Dave Courtemanche. Cathy Graham, a Gr. 9 pupil at Ter- LIVE and WORK race Bay High School, placed second in the prepared speech portion of the THE SA ee WAY Ontario School Trustees' and Ontario fHydro Public Speaking Zone Finals.
