Also, players are reminded there will be no Badminton during the week of March 14 to 21st since the High School will be closed for. the winter term holidays. Girl Guides - The group of Girl Guides who normall meet on Tuesday evening in the High School Auditor ium on Tuesdays wil! not be able to meet there this coming Tuesday March 11th, owing to the preserita tion of PUSS IN BOOTS. Instead they will meet ia the large meeting room (meeting room #1) of the - Recreation Centre on MONDAY, March 10 at 6.30 p.m. Also the High School Auditorium will not be available during the winter term holidays from March 14th to 21st and the Guides for the Tuesday evening session will meet at the same time on the same night (Tuesday) in Meeting Room #1 of the Recreation Centre. - "PUSS IN BOOTS" - This Tuesday, March Tith, the production PUSS IN BOOTS will be presented at the High School Auditorium. There will be one performance. This play is very similar to the pres- entation of the TINDER BOX which was made during our Centennial Year celebrations, and which was so thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. PUSS IN BOOTS is being sponsored jointly by all the school boards of Terrace Bay and the Terrace Bay Recreation Committee. The evening performance will start at 7.30 p.m. and admission charges will be as follows Adults $1.00; students with out pass .50¢ pre~schooi children .25¢. The afternoon performance will be free of charge to students with passes. Upholstery Course - This course is scheduled to start Friday, March 7th, at 7.00 p.m. in the large meet- ing room (room #1) of the Recreation Centre. Suf- ficient registrations have been received to proceed with this workshop, and therefore additional regis- trations will be accepted up until Friday ¢ this week Please do not register at the first session of this work- shop Hurry, if you wish to register, so that we may know how many people to prepare for. CURLING CLUB NEWS The kimberly-Clark Trophy Bonspiel held last week end was won by Watson Slomke , Ann Latour, Tony Cvitkovich, and Dorothy Dakin. Runners-up were Jin Rogers, Sheila Hughes, Hugh Brophyand Rhea Beaulieu. Winning the "B" event were Bob Roberts, Elizabeth Burns, Jack Richards and Isabel Marsh. Runners-up were Cari LeBlanc, Ivy Pattison, Dick Rattray and Hilda Brophy. At Saturday's bonspiel social the Curling Club's trophies were presented to the 1967-68 Mixed League Champions Hector McLeod, Elizabeth Burns, Charlie and Korothy Koski. Also on Saturday a collection was taken up from fellow curlers and presented to a needy E curler to have his broom repaired. Winning the door | prize was Elizabeth Burns. The mixed league bonspiel is scheduled for March 14, 15 and 16th. | SKi CLUB NEWS Results of the Ballon Busting downhill held iast Sunday are as follows - Girls Division Ist. Brenda - Chapman 2nd. Pat Megraw, 3rd. Donna Chapman. Wipe out award - Joan Persson. Boys Division - Ist. Doug Chisholm, 2nd. Don Hamilton, 3rd. Billy Megraw. Bent Ski Pole Award - Steve Chapman.
