N GEM TEXACO SERVICE Phone 3723 Corner Mill Rd. & Hwy. 17 TERRACE BAY HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL Last Thursday, the T.B.H.S. senior basketball teams, cheerleaders and spectators went to Schreiber for two games. The girls played well out they lost their first game in several years by a score of 21 - 18. Our boys played an excellent game and were cheered on by Terrace Bay fans. Three minutes of overtime had to be played in this and Schreiber came ahead to win 47 - 35. On Friday and Saturday, the teams travelled to Nip-Rock. All of the games were fast and well played. The friendly sportsman like attitudes throughout the games were tremendous.. We were treated kind and courteously by our Nip-Rock hosts and hostesses . The boys played the first game Friday night with Nip-Rock taking it 32 - 21. By this time our girls were back on their feet and they won an easy victory 57 - 10. Early the next morning the boys d played a second game with Nip-Rock again winning | 40 - 30. During the second girls game we were again victorious 50 - 15.
