Contact Recreation Office at 3542. SKI CLUB NEWS Skiers take heart - start waxing your boards and prac icing your yodelling! Early indications are that this winter we'll be up to our goggles in fluffy white stuff. It won't take much more snow before the trails are skiable, so watch the NEWS for big starting date. Have you been thinking of a Christmas present for the would-be skier or the old pro? Nothing beats som new ski equipment and a club membership. Member- ship rates are the same as last year until January 6. (With the exception of Intermediate Membership). Family - $10.00, Senior $8.00, Intermediate (high- school) $6.50, Junior - $5.00. Contact Bob Hopper at 825-3225. On January 6th membership rates will increase slightly to $12.00, $10.00, $7.50 and $6.0C respectively. So join now - you don't have to wait for good snow - it's here! Tow fees and skiing schedules will be the same as last year. As in the past, Saturday morning Ski Classes will be held at the hill free for all club members. T!is year we are very fortunate to have four CSIA trained instructors headed by Lyle Nicol, Senior Club Champ- ion. Classes will be for skiers of all abilities. Watch the NEWS for starting dates. ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION (from Page 14) The Color Party, Clarence Mercier and Arnold Mc- Kechnie installed the colors. Pat Jon es thanked his past executive and all who had helped make his term a worthwhile one. He gave his best wishes to the in-coming president and hoped that the same co-operation would be given to him. TERRACE BAY NEWS December 12, 1968 He also thanked the Ladies Auxiliary for the contrib- ution of time and money they had offered in the past. Retiring President Dorothy Coupal, of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Branch, thanked all who had helped her so much in her year and stated how much she had enjoyed it. President Coupal, on behalf of the Ladie Auxiliary presented Pat Jones with a cheque for $500 to be used towards the building fund. Mrs. Coupal was then presented with her Past President Pin by in- coming President Dorothy Ballentine. Installing Officer John Falzetta thanked the Branch for the honor of being Installation Officer. Following are the officers then installed: Sergeant at arms - Dave Gunter, Warden for L.A. Lillian Belliveau, _ Secretary - George Churney L.A. Joyce Mercier; Treasurer - Paul Coupal, L.A. Pam Jones; Branch Service Officer - Bill Kubjida; Executive Committee Heinz Schmeidchen, Sax Lundberg, Jeannette Gunteq Dorothy Koski, Sheila Dakin, Shirley and Adeline Daley. Ist. Vice - A. McKechnie, 2nd. Vice - Harry Gusul, L.A. Ist. Vice - Stella Gusul, 2nd Vice - Yvonne Rochon, Past Presidents Pat Jones and Dorothy Coupal . The Presidents of the Branch and Auxiliary were then installed - Charlie Koski and Dorothy Ballentine President Koski thanked the Branch for the high honor and pledged to do his best. Dorothy Ballentine then thanked the members of the Auxiliary. Color Party Clarence Mercier and Dave Gunter removed the colors. The President adjourned the meeting.
