He completed his high school educa- tion at Coldchester County Academy, Truro N.S. Following his high school education Mr. Gouthro spent a period of five years in various positions, those being: Accounting Clerk for the Canadian National Railway, Pilot Trainee in the R.C.A.F., Bank of Montreal employee and two years as a Management Trainee with the T. Eaton Company. To further his education he attended the Ryerson Institute of Technology, Toronto, Ontaric where he graduated with honours in Business Administration. During the next three years. Mr. Gouthro worked at different occupations, one being a high school teacher at Manitouwadge, Ontario. While working as a Chartered Accountant Trainee, he also taught night school at Ryerson. He then attended Bishops Univer- sity for two years where he obtained his Honours Business Administration Degree. Mr. Gouthro enjoys hunting, fishing, liberia skin diving and skiing. His hobbies are music, reading, target shooting and flying. Following his regular classes, Mr. Gouthro spends much of his time giving self-defense lessons for those students interested.
