To the many newcomers to Terrace Bay whom | have not had the opportunity of meeting, may | tell you that | am the retired local Post- master. | opened the post office here in January 1947 and have been actively as- sociated with practically every organization formed ' in Terrace Bay, from the first Teen Age and Boy Scout Committees on through seven years on the Improvement District Board, before we had an elected Council, on which 1 served and left to become Chairman of the Centennial Committee in 1965, and your Reeve for 1967-68 . ~ L have found that this background has served me well over the past two years.
