OCTOBER 10, 1968 TERRACE BAY NEWS. PAGE 16 iy "THE OWL'S HOOT" The school board of S.H.S. has proposed a new name for our school - Pierre Elliot Trudeau Secondary School. The students are left with the task of accept ing or rejecting this name. ; Permission was tentatively obtained from Prime Min 'ster Trudeau. It is now up to the students to. make the final decision on the subject. Some of us feel another name would be more suitable, others agree | with the originalplan, and still others feel the tradi- tion should be kept in leaving the name Schreiber High School. A good suggestion was brought through by one of the students to call it Sir Collingwood High after the man who founded Schreiber . The voting will take place sometime this week and we're sure whatever the students vote for will be accepted by most everyone. We owe our school boar many thanks for leaving the decision up to the stu- dents.
