Todesco; with Albert Rouble, Jack Spillett and Falix Legault on the committee. It was unanimously agreed that the organization be known as the Rossport Water Association. It was moved that each subscriber be assessed a fee of $5 to cover the initial costs of the waterline and lease fee and other espences such as stamps, stationary and incidental expenditures. It was noted that subscribers who recently paid their water rates would be compensated or a refund of fees for a period beyond the date on which the association purchased the waterline. Ray Kenney complimented all who had contributed a great deal of time and effort to make this service available to the villagers. He recommended that Mr. Todesco be reimbursed for his expenses during the purchasing of the waterline. The meeting adjourned on motions. SCHREIBER CITIZENS RINK COMMITTEE TENDERS Tenders will be accepted by the above Committee for the position of Rink Manager until October 31st, 1968 for the 1968-69 season. Duties consist of care of the Ice Plant and Ice Sur- face and the Arena in general. 5 Lowest or any Tender not necessarily accepted. Hall-Dennis Report - cont'd from page 14 It was suggested that School Boards also be invited to study the report with the teachers, as many recom mendations cannot be implemented without the sup- port of the Board. Many teachers felt that much of the ground work has been. done over the past year or so with the many; changes in attitudes that have come about regarding education and that many teachers are just waiting for the green light signal to "go" with education. It is the intention of O.T.F. that each of the one hundred delegates, present at the Conference, will go to his respective area and organize a similar study of the report with the teachers in that area. In this way, the enthusiasm of the delegates will be passed on and the Report will receive due recogni- tion from teachers in every part of Ontario. The Report is child centred and very well thought out. The labour of the committee members is. ob- vious throughout the whole report. The opening words of the report are: "The underlying aim of education is to further man's unending search for truth. Once he possesses the means to truth, all else is within his grasp. Wisdon and understanding, sensitive compassion, and responsibility, as well as intellectual honesty and personal integrity, will be his guides in adolescence and his companions in maturity." What finer words could a teacher want for aims?
