In response to a request from the town a lengthy discussion on adminis- tering the welfare fund was held. The problem 1s_ that OPP| which has disbursed the fund -- set up by the town -- no longer wants the responsibility and since the town Office is closed evenings and Saturday and Sun- day, other ways of assisting peo- ple must be found. The town office, of course, could act during regular office hours. It was finally agreed to have Rev. Prinselaar contact Father Cano, and, if he was will- ing to take part, they would meet the town council for fur- ther discussion. Mrs, Prinselaar described the need for more teachers in the Sunday school and proposed changes. In particular there 'was a need to separate the jnursery school age from the old- er five and six year olds. It was agreed to have Mr. Prinselaar and the pastoral committee meet representatives of the Rossport Church to dis- cuss services for this year. The regular meeting night was changed to the First Thurs- day of each month at 7:30 in order that more members will be able to attend. It was decided to have the annual visitation completed by ithe end of October.
