PAGE 14 SEPARATE SCHOOL GRADUATION EXERCISES _ The following students received graduation certifi cates and awards in the ceremony which took place in Holy Angels' Separate school on June 28th= Cathy Bottomley, Debbie Caccamo, Maureen Camp bell, Kevin Cocks, Lonnie Connelly, Frank Costa, Leo Courtemanche, Glenn Desmoulin, Jane Duggan Barry Gilmore, Karen and Kathy Guina, Roy Huard, Donald Keating, Jack Maclsaac, Joe Maroneses, John McGrath, Jewel Paradis, Andre Perras, Susan Phillips, John Racioppi, Ted Ross, Robert Ryan, John Souliere, Joe Speziale, Ted Speziale, Marc Tremblay, Robert Webb,. Janice Wiznuk, Danny Quigg, Alex Doucet, Carlo Deleo, Dominic Deleo, Harvey Bedard, Curtis Martin. Mr. Anthony Speziale was their teacher. The proficiency award for highest marks in each grade, was presented by Aurel Gauthier for the Knights of Columbus, to Karen and Kathy Guina, twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Guina. The girls are not completely similar in appearance and in |.Q's, varying in tests by a decimal point. They also received evening bags from the Parent Teachers Association. Dean Cano presented the Father McHugh trophy for most progress, to Danny Quigg. The Dominic Savio trophy for school spirit was presented to Ted Ross, who was chairman for the program. Scholarship money from the Schreiber Women's Institute was used to purchase a trophy which will have three names inscribed on it this year - Bob Ryan, Rita Pellagrino and Maureen Campbell . The Principal, Sister St. Timothy, commended the staff, and noted increased Parent interest is most encouraging. Grade eight, Mr. Speziale, spoke most affectionately to his students. Dean Cano, in his brief speech, complimented the students on the questions by them during religious instruction periods The grads "Last Will and Testament" was given by Janie Duggan and Maureen Campbell. The charac- teristic of each grad is pinpointed and willed to the succeeding grade 8. This years exercises featured few formal speeches. Valedictorian was Bob Webb. Dances were arrangea with numbers for parents and livelier arrangements for the younger set. Coffee and lunch was served during a break. The photo at the top of the next column, by I. Bikes - Cathie Doig, John Bromley, Marilyn Hawke Trikes - Bruce Richardson, Bobby Imbeault, Frank Costa; Costumes - Rhonda Campbell, Tana Morrow and Patricia McGrath - firsts; Cathy Cocks, Mary and Erin Bourke - second; Michael Quigg - third.
