Paradise left Friday for her home in Sioux City, lowa. | The Ken Thorpes and Wayne Medds of Green Bay, Wisc., have arrived for their annual holiday. Charlie Pearson holds his 14 Ib. 15.0z. Lake Trout which won a weekly prize in the summer-long Ross- port Fish Derby. Thefish had eel marks on it and in- dicates that the larger fish are on the way back in Lake Superior. Rune and Elsie Ostling A Come and Go Tea wil be held in the Guild Hall from 8 - 10 on Friday, July 12th, in honor of Mrs. Marilyn Kachur (nee Pearson), married June 28th in Lynn Lake, Manitoba. TERRACE BAY LADIES AUXILIARY The last regular meeting until September, of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 223, took place on June 30th, in the Legion Hall. Initiation of new members was performed after the regular business. A Card Party will be held in the Legion Hall:on -} Wednesday, July 10th, at 8 p.m. Make-up a party of friends, and come out and join in an evening of fun. There will be a small charge, and lunch will be provided. Everyone is welcome. Mrs. Mary Brown of Kapuskasing, is visiting with her son, Ted Brown, and daughter-in-law, Stella, and family. Donna and Michael Day also visited with the Brown's while in Terrace Bay, to attend the wedding of Lunne Moores and Norman Boone. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Zielke,and family of Kamloops B.C., former residents of Terrace Bay, visited at the homes of Marge and Walter Anderson, and Mel and Irene Nicol. Shirley Zielke was chosen as a Student Ambassador from B.C. to go to St. Stephen, N.B. in a good will tour. SHOPPING TIPS !. Packaged mixes and prepared frozen specialties are expensive. Don't pay extra for fancy packaging or "gimmicks" 4. Choose cereals for their food value not for the premiums or sweet coatings. Besides, you pay more for these "extras". 5.
