PAGE 14 ! GAGNON - KINNEY VOWS EXCHANGED Summer flowers adorned the altar in Holy Angels' Roman Catholic Church on June 8th for the wedding of Patricia Ann Gagnon; daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Gagnon, and Robert William Kinney, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. William Kinney, all of Schrei- ber. Very Rev. Dean Cano officiated. Miss Brenda Lalonde was organist and Giovanni Cebrario soloist. Ushers were Keith Nesbitt and Albert Morris. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white ultra crepe, fashioned with round neckline, the three quarter length sleeves and em- pire waistline marked by lace inserts. Lace inserts adorned the full length train which fell from the back neckline. Her four tier waist length veil was caught to a white satin rose, and she carried a bou- quet of pink shaded mums. The bridesmaid, Miss Doris McParland, chose a turquoise sheer floor length gown, over peau de soie with scoop neckline, the empire bodice marked in front by a jewelled half and swirling full panel in the back: Her headdress was shirred nylon centred with. jewelled lily of the valley. The cap sleeves were complemented by full length white gloves and her white kid slippers had, jewelled buckles. Her bouquet was of pearlized turquoise centred white mums . Frank Roen was the best man. _ Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was given in the town hall, where Jack Stokes, cousin of the bride, was master of ceremonies, and the toast to the bride was given by Harvey Carmichael . In the afternoon, a reception was held in the town hall when Mrs. Gagnon received in pink metal lic sheath with lace coat, petal hat and white ac- cessories. _ The groom's mother chose a turquoise sheath with embroidered bodice and bolero jacket. Her shirred tulle hat and accessories were in white. Both had corsages of white mums and lily of the valley. Following the reception, a supper for the immed- iate wedding party and relatives was given in the home of the bride's parents. The newly-weds spent their honeymoon in Duluth and nearby cities; the bride travelling in a yellow suit with lace and accessories in white. They will make their home in Schreiber, where the groom is employed by the CPR.
