FATHERS DAY TEA A SUCCESS The Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 223, held their annual Fathers Day Tea on June 16th, in the Legion Hall. Convenors were Mrs. Sheila Dakin, and Mrs. Cora Bajkiewicz The tea table was decorated with a pink and blue flower arrangement, flanked by two tall pink tapers Individual tables held small flower vases. Fathers who poured tea were Pat Jones, President of the Branch, George Churney, Arnold McKechnie Bruce McBride, Howard Solly and George Dakin. Servitors were Susan McInnes, Valerie Boyd, Alina Rochon and Denise Rochon. Kitchen arrange ments were in the capable hands of Elsie Fedorak, Gladys Kujbida, and Cora Bajkiewicz. Tickets were sold at the door by Stella Gusul . The door prize was won by Linda Ballentine.
