The idea is to make up your own foursome - men, ladies or mixed - and play 18 holes; your net score is then compared with the Pro's Gross score. If you beat the Pro, you receive an attrac- tive "I beat the Champ" golf bag tag. Pros this year are George Knudson against the men and Betty Cole against the gals. Juniors will be at the first tee each evening during the week, also on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th, to collect entry fees and hand out stamped score cards. You can golf all 18 holes in one evening or spread it over two evenings, and you can enter more than once. Score cards are to be turned in to the Tournament Committee. The year's activities were discussed and paid up membership at that date was 184. Mem- berships may be obtained at the club house from either Mr..or Mrs. Cornfield. Dues for the balance of the year become payable on June 15th. Anyone interested in junior golf may contact Mr. Tor Olsen. The men's Twilight will start on Wednesday, June Sth. Effective June Ist scores are to be entered on your score sheet so that your handicap can be pos- ted. Our club Pro, Sandy Middleton, is now giving classes on weekends.
