President Ed Kennedy opened the meeting, and called on Vlado Kuran, Citizens' Committee Chair- man, to introduce the guests. Before proceeding with regular business, the Curl ing Champs, who were dressed in regal garb, as seen in the photo below by Marg Lundberg, were called upon to take a bow. From left to right they are Bob Coteman, skip Charlie Todesco, Curly Hale and Allan Teskey. The team had travelled to the - Lakehead on March 9th, to take part in the annyal Kiwanis Curling Bonspiel and returned with me first prize. President Ed Kennedy welcomed Marg Lundberg, whe was invited to dinner as a member of the press, along with the honoured guests. Rev. Garnett Husser proposed that Rev. Sinotte; Charlotte's Beauty Shop; Roxy Theatre; Terrace Bay Credit Union; Moonstone Lanes and - Snack Bar; Don Laporte, Past President, made a special presentation on behalf of the Kiwanis Club Mr. Lemay thanked the Kiwanis for the dinner and the gifts which had been presented to them. Mr. Kuran expressed his appreciation to all the merchants and businessmen who had so generously donated tothe Club. President Kennedy added his thanks. See photo. on page 5 by M.
