Following the dinner a meet- ing was held to organize a ladies' auxiliary to assist the leaders. Following officers were elected: Mrs. L. R. Tremblay, GREGOIRE-SINGLETON VOWS EXCHANGED A wedding of interest to Schreiber friends took place in Sudbury on February 24th when Jacqueline daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clement Gregoire of Sudbury and Lawrence Singleton of Toronto; son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Singleton of Schreiber, were married in St. Jean-De-Brebeuf Church. - The bride was attended by her sister, Lucille and Lynn Bouchard, and flower girls were Louise Greg- oire, sister, and Judy Moher, niece of the groom, of Terrace Bay. The groomsmen were Peter Cham- berlain of Toronto and Terry Singleton of Schreiber. Danny Riley of Schreiber was the usher. Attending the wedding from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Singleton, Diane, Linda and Terry Singleton, Mrs. J.B. Fournier, relatives of the groom, Mrs. Richard Moher and Judy of Terrace urer, Mrs. Aurel Major, secre- tary, Mrs. John Macisaac, press. Mrs. Harry Shacx is the local commissioner. The Schreiber Girl Guides also held their annual Thinking Day tea on Saturday afternoon in 'the Guild Hall, with Mrs. Carroll, as their guest.
