Those enrolled were Linda Sitko, Cathy Belliveau, Natalie Kostiuk, Patricia Dakin and Rosalind Calder. Several mothers were present, and after coffee had been served, they joined in games with the Brownies and their leaders. The regular meeting of the Terrace Bay Chamber of Commerce will be held on Thursday, February 18 at 7.30 p.m. in the large meeting room of the Rec- reation Centre. Everybody is welcome to attend. The annual Cub and Scout Father and Son Banquet will be held in the Community Church on Saturday, February 24th. Dinner will start at 6 p.m. sharp to be followed by a planned program. Heikkila Worship Service - first Sunday each month - 7 p.m. The February meeting of the Community Chua Ladies Auxiliary opened with a hymn, lead by Mrs. A. Anderson at the piano. Mrs. Stella Brown, President, presided and read a poem. Mrs. Janet Litt read the Scripture and led in prayer. Minutes were read and adopted, with the treasurer's report being given by Mrs. Connie Cvitkovich. She read the annual report-for 1967, which pointed to a very successful year for the Auxiliary, and then reported for January. It was adopted as read. Mrs. Aini Anderson, secretary, read th. corres- pondence, which included a letter of thanks from Mrs. Aggie Sinkins for her farewell gift, letters from Mrs. Tina Young and Mr. Jim Bedard for their Christmas gifts from the Auxiliary while they were hospitalized, and a thank you note for sympathy ex- pressed to Mrs. Eva Haugh and Barb, and Mrs. Ned West. A letter was read from the Canadian Mental Healt Association, asking for support, and the motion was § carried that a cheque for $25 be sent to them. Convenors reports included one from Mrs. Alice Farrow, Property Convenor, who gave her annual re port, and stated she had purchased new tea towels and a 12 cup coffee (Cont'd on page 4
