PAGE 16 JOINT SUNDAY SCHOOL PARTY The first joint Sunday School Christmas Children's party was held on December 10 by the st. John's Anglican Church and St. Andr- ew's United Church and a crowd of excited kids!! The program began with a short program in the United Church with Vaugn Tremblay as the M. C. announcing the actors in three short plays, those giving recitations, and in the chorus, "Silver Bells." Then the party moved to the Anglican church across the street, where lunch was served by Debbie Smith, Arlene Krause, Debby McCanna, Terry Birch, Janet Lengyel, and Vicky Krause. And lastly, the great moment, when appeared with many ho-ho's to distribute the gifts and talk to the children, in voice strangely resembling Frank McKenna's.
