NOVEMBER 30, 1967 Quarter Century(cont'd pg 1) Following the reading of several messages of congratu- lations to the group, Mr. Wig spoke briefly on the value of people to an organization. Reflecting on comments made by G.M, Minard, President of the World-Wide Kimberly- Clark Corporation, Mr. Wig stated that when people spend a quarter of a century with an employer this indicat es the loyalty and confidence they have in their company. Establishment of a local Quarter Century Club,recog- nizes this service and the contribution of each person in the group toward the growt and success of the Company. Grant Puttock then intro- duced three new Quarter Century Club members, all from the Woodlands Division. Richard Green, Rupert Meikle and Jack Loponen were presented with twenty- five year pins and suitably engraved watches by Mr. Wig. The wives, Betty Green Ruby Meikle and Irene Lopon en also recieved gifts in re- cognition of the occasion. There were no new members joining the club this year from the Mill Division. A Lakehead group provided music for dinner and the dancing and fellowship that followed. Attending from Longlac in addition to those already named were: Ken and Kay Switzer, Austin and Tena Ste. Croix, Ralph and Florence Sexsmith, Tauno and Ebba Loponen Walter and Marjorie Mills, Ken and Elsie McCron.
