Their repertoire includes selections from Henry V, Taming of the Shrew and Canadian Songs and Poetry. & i ee eee eee THEATRE GROUP APPEAR AT HIGH SCHOOL ART CLUB SPONSOR CONTEST The Terrace Bay Art Club will sponsor an Art Contest for children in both schools in Grades 5,6, 7 and 8. Either paint or crayon may be used. One of the following themes may be used - sports, What Centennial Year Means to Me, Beauty Around Us. Teachers in each class will choose the best four and the Art Club will pick a winner in each grade. These will Mais, be displayed at the Art Club Exhibit on Ma IGe | December 15. Students of the Terrace Bay High School were pri- vileged Thursday afternoon to have the Crest Theatre Hour Company appear in their auditor- ium. The Crest Theatre Hour Company, deriving their name from the fact that their program takes one hour to perform, started in 1963, under Director Barbara Chilcott, who also directed the Crest Theatre in Toronto. This program ,sponsored by the Depart: ment of Education of Ontario, was init- ially intended to dramatize Grade 13 English curriculum. The cast spent 12 weeks in Toronto schools and did so well that the Department decided to put them on tour. The first tour was in 1964, and this is the company's 4th trip around Ontario. They started September 17, 1967 and will end March 15, 1968 with two weeks at home in Toronto for 'Christ mas. NEW OFFICERS ELECTED AT ANNUA _ GOLF CLUB MEETING The annual meeting of the Aguasabon Golf Club was held Sunday, November 19 in the Recreation Centre.
