Mrs. E.C.Prinsefaar and Mrs. Edna Cocks. Following the ceremony Guides and Brownies held a sing-song around a campfire with Guide Cathy Bottomley leading. The evening ended with the dismissal prayer and taps sung by each group. Others taking part were Ist. pack Tawny Owls Mrs. J. Bromley, Mrs. J. Kulmatycki and 2nd. pack Tawny Owls Mrs. J. Open letter to Town Council, Community Organiza tions, interested persons, Churches, Church Organiza tions in the Township of Schreiber - Town Talk meeting, November 26 at 8 p.m. in the Guild Hall. When the seventy representatives of the Churches of Schreiber closed the meeting which was organized around the topic "The Christian & Politics" a motion was unanimously passed that other such meetings would be held. The opinion was expressed that the topic for discussion should be limited to local con- cerns. Within these terms of reference a meeting of Nov- ember 26 is hereby called under the general theme "Urgencies for Progress". We are inviting the residents of Schreiber to attend this meeting for the purpose of discussion and action. NEW GUIDES AND LEADERS CHOSEN A Centennial theme was used for the Fly-Up ceremony at the Guild Hall when 14 Brownies few Gp to Guides. When the Centennial Caravan rolled in, it carried 12 Brownies who were flying up and. two walking up. Flying up were Mary Bourke, Mary Figliomeni, Linda Singleton, Donna McGrath from Ist.pack and walking up was Darlene Fummerton. Flying up from 2nd. pack were Elda Holland, Alma Cenerelli, Brenda Cebrario, Rosanne Speziale, Paula Gauthier Linda Huard, Denise Perras, and walking up was Lucy Racioppi . The Brownies assembled at the toadstool and were presented with wings and cert- ificates by Madam Commissioner Mary Shack, assisted by Brown Owls Mrs. Marcella Cebrario and Mrs. Agnes Dietrich. Rev. Father J. M, Cano, Rev. E.C. Prinselaar. Port Arthur Board of Education will offer a training program for service station attendants starting November 27. Succ- essful graduates will be recognized by industry in the form of higher starting slery than that of an untrained employee. The 16 week course will include several aspects of the work.
