ANGLICAN WOMEN PLAN CHRISTMAS BAZAAR In the absence of president Mrs. A.C .Rigelsford, the meeting of the Anglican Church Women was chaired by Mrs. J.D. Bryson. The annual Christmas Bazaar and Tea was planned for December 16 from 3 to 5.30 p.m. in the church hall. A salad plate will be served. Mrs. Stella Caufield, Sault Ste. Marie reminded members of the Diocesan fees and the thanks offer- ing, in a letter received by the group. A donation was made to St. Andrew's fund. Mrs. W.G. Turnbull, education secretary, North Bay, sentco list of recommended reading material for the study period for the year. The president announced that Miss Heather Trembla and Miss Shirley Ann Winters have agreed to take over leadership of the Junior Auxiliary. The next meeting will be held in Mrs. D.Q. Ham- ilton's home at 8 p.m. Lunch was served by Mrs. David Harrison, hostess. RUBY REBEKAH LODGE MEET Mrs. Jean Fisher, NG and Mrs. Mildred Smith PNG _ presided for the meeting of Ruby Rebekah Lodge. A sick and visiting report was given by Mrs. Jessie McCanna. Mrs. Chris Morris reported for the CP&T - committee and said total equipment had been loaned for 52 days. New CP&T officers are: W.Slomke, chairman; W.Jones, treasurer; Mrs. Chris Morris, secretary. Mrs. Earline Johnson, convenor of the New Officer's Tea said it had been most successful . , Members were asked to bring a tea towel -to the next meeting to replenish the cupboard. Following the meeting next month, there will be a Christmas penny. auction and each member is asked to bring a prize pertaining to Christmas. Winners in the Fire Brigade Halloween Dance - Don Beno and Giovanni Cebrario as Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy, Irene Bolen and Kay Furyk 4m Centennial costume, Judy Fairburn and Ruth MacIsaac as Martians. Bourke was - parade marshall . Jack Winters, president of Canadian Legion Branch 109, with color bearers Lloyd. Small and Bill Paradis led the Legionnairs.
