Traffic: 3 property damage accidents, estimate of damage $2,000.00. 7 Charges were laid under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act. 45 Vehicles were given safety checks. 16 Warnings were issued to motorists regarding in- fractions of the Traffic Act, and vehicle defects. 2 Transients were assisted in the form of a Meal Ticket from the Schreiber Transient & Welfare Fund In the report published last week by the Schreiber Artificial Ice Committee, a donation of $300 made by the Ontario Hydro was omitted. Schreiber C.W.L. (Cont'd from column 1) ed sending more books to the Sanitorium in Fort William. Further arrangements were made for the tea-bazaar to be held on November 15. There were two speakers at the meeting: Mr. Friesen, Manager of the Bank of Montreal, and Mr. W. Kirpatrick, insurance agent. Both spoke on points for protection, investment and insurance.
