MCGREGOR - COSGROVE NUPTIALS Variegated glads adorned the Altar in Holy Angels' Roman Catholic Church in Schreiber on September 2, for the marriage of Mantell Janette Cosgrove, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Austin Cosgrove and Henry Edward McGregor, of Kapuskasing, son of Mrs. Harvey McGregor and the late Capt. Harvey Mc- Gregor, of Owen Sound. Rev. J. M. Cano officiated. Jack Gordon was organist and Miss Crystal Kusik the soloist. ' Ushers were Gerard Cosgrove, brother of the bride and Paul Gauthier. Attending the groom were his brother, William McGregor, Owen Sound and Edward Young, of White River. The bride, given in marriage 'y her father, was gowned in white peau de soie, the skirt complimented by a detachable train, and adorned with lace med- allions. The Empire bodice of lace had a scalloped neckline and half length sleeves, ornamented with pearl and rhinestone applique. Her triple bouffant veil was caught to a jewelled flower and her bouquet a semi-cascade of pink glads and gtad tips. The two bridesmaids, Miss Colleen Cosgrove, sister of the bride, and Miss Diane Morgan, of White River, wore identically designed gowns of gold chiffon over taffeta, floor length, the Empire bodice outlined by narrow belt of leaves of self material, and their whimsy veils held by jewelled rose. They carried shower bouquets of pink carnations and lily of the valley. Kathleen Cosgrove, niece of the bride, was flower girl, also wearing a floor length frock, the Empire line marked by gold bow with full length streamers and her headdress a gold bow. She carried a nosegay of pink carnations. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was given in the Schreiber Hotel when William McGregor proposed the toast to the bride. A reception was held in the home of the bride's parents, when Mrs. Cosgrove received in a blue linen dress, patterned in silver, with matching three quarter length coat, hat and accessories in white, and corsage of pink sweetheart roses. The groom's mother chose a brown ensemble, the dress marked by gold embroidered collar, her hat and accessories in brown. She wore a mink stole and corsage of tangerine roses. Assisting Mrs. Cosgrove as servitors were Mesdames Martyn Ryan, Jack Anderson, Con Duggan and Mervyn Perrault. For a honeymoon in southern Ontario the bride chose a beige and gold suit, beige accessories and corsage of orange ice sweetheart roses. They will make their home in Kapuskasing, where the groom is employed with the Department of Lands and Forests.
