Diane Paulsen is home with her parents Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Paulsen for a week before returning to university in Toronto for her final year. Mr. & Mrs. J. Garriock have the former's parents from Neepawa, Manitoba visiting. Mr. & Mrs. A. Farrow had Mrs. Farrow's brother and family, Mr. & Mrs. R.Willer and son Larry visiting. Also, home for a visit was their son Don and family from Port Arthur. Lita Marie Boudreau left recently for North Bay where she will attend St. Joseph's School this year. Jacqueline Latour and Ellen Knight returned recent- ly from a trip to Calgary, Alberta. Jacqueline has returned to Sarnia, Ontario where she will be attending school . Mr. & Mrs. H. Coe spent their vacation at Expo and in Toronto. Mr. & Mrs. L. Crandlemire spent heir holiday in Saskatoon and Prince Albert. They also attended son' Gary's wedding in Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario on Saturday, September 2. Following the singing of "O Canada" the Flag was raised by a Wrenette and Sea Cadet. Project Chairman A. Farrow said it was a pleasure and great experience to work on the Parks Board. He said that twenty years ago everyone joined in community efforts and that, though this spirit is not quite so prevalent today, the project chosen would benefit the youth of the fu ture through its beauty. He mentioned the original committee, W.Adamo, W.E. Cavanaugh, John Steen and Bert Ratchford thanking them and all organizations that helped in any way. He mentioned that only three quarters of the final project is completed - the remain der to be finished next spring. At this point a b ronze plaque, a gift from Local 665 and Local 186! and the Park itself were officially presented to the Township. {continued on Page 5)
