Jim McCuaig- visited his grand-parents, enroute from Atikokan where he visited his aunt and uncle Mr. & Mrs. R.C. McCuaig, to Toronto. Paddy O'Brien is spending his vacation with rela- tives in Pembroke. John Scott, Don Winters, John Small and Ron Ham- ilton left Saturday to attend Expo. Mr. & Mrs. W.G. Furlonger are visiting their son Laurie and family in Ottawa this week. Norman Bottomley has returned home after spending the summer with the Forestry Department in Fort Frances and Lake of the Woods. Returning to their homes in Dartmouth, N.S., this week were Mr. & Mrs. Rodney Bryson and son Kenn- eth, Mr. & Mrs. Burke Trowsse and daughter D'Arcy, the latter visiting enroute with Mr. & Mrs. Craig Trowsse in Hearst. Brian Hubelit of Terrace Bay, who has been organist in St.Andrew's United Church during the summer, presented an organ recital Monday evening to a most appreciative audience with many tourists attending. The program was as follows: Trumpet Tune, Henry - Purcell, Toccata in Minor J.S. Bach, Organ Sonata #2, Movements 1 and 2; Two trios - Josef Reinberger, Three preludes - Marcel Dupre; Popular music select- ions, Moonlight and Roses, two Scottish tunes, Come Back To Sorrento, Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Lara's Theme. Visiting with Allan Bourk, Kevin C'Rrien and Gus Boon in Schreiber this week are Steve Saunders and Tony Kucharski, formerly _ playing with the Blue Bonibers and still associated with the club. Mrs. Harold McParland is in a convalescent home in Tor- onto recovering from an eye operation. Miss Diane RBuminerv Thursday .or Fort Frances where she will be teaching this year. R. T. Kenney unveiled the park sign - The George Wardrope Water Access Area - amid cheers and clapping. Nattely attired in Centennial plaid jacket, tie, hat and matching slacks, George was visibly moved by this gesture and with the gifts presented to both he and his wife. Penalties for late registration may be levied. JANE KELTY TOURS EUROPE Jane, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J. Kelty of Terrace Bay had the good fortune to be a member of a one month European Tour sponsored by the Ship School Association. ' The group included students from Canada, England and France. High school teachers acted as chap- erones and guides. Stops were made in Scotland, London, England, Gibraltar, Malta, Italy, Corsica, Mall orca, Lisbon and Portugal. Three classes a day were conducted when the customs and currency of the area involved were discussed. The highlights of each stop were taken in and enjoyed by all.
