LEGION GOLF TOURN AMENT HELD Saturday, July 29, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 223 held a Club Golf T ournament at the Terrace Bay Golf Club. The weather was perfect with a slight cooling breeze off Lake Superior for the twenty-five contestants entered and the more experienced golfer mixed with the Legion members who were new at the game, had many a laugh and all thoroughly enjoyed the day. The Carling Trophy was won by Hector McLeod with a Net 69, Second Len Swirhun 72, Third John Ferrier 74.
