Such actions could result in suspension from Recreation activities for the entire summer. The equipment is placed for the use of your childre and we hope you will try and help us keep it in a good safe condition. SWIMMING POOL - The swimming classes have been going very well, however, the weather has curtailed swimming in the evening. In our previous pool schedule, we mentioned that swimming was open in the evening to persons 14 years of age.and over, plus two family nights per week. Effective immediately, evening swimming will be available to any children regardless of age, PROVIDING THEY ARE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT. In essence, every night will be Family Night. In this way , we hope that more person s will get more use out of the pool . PLAYGROUNDS - The Playground Program is turning out to be very succ- essful, as the daily attendance is approximately 150 persons ranging in ages from 4 to 15. Last week, play- grounds had their elections and a imately 105 children accompanied leaders on a hike to the beach area. All the chil dren had lunch and took part in activities planned for them. The evening program, with its daily attendance of approximately 150, is also proving to be successful . However, since Friday evenings seem (continued on Page 5)
