An open farewell party was held in honor of Theresa Gaudet, last Thursday in the Moose Hall. There was an excellent turn out of friends from Schreiber and Terrace Bay, where Theresa and her family have lived for the past sixteen years. Guests enjoyed games and socializing and a mock "fashion show" was put on by Vi Drexler as part of the entertainment. Lunch was served by co-hostesses, Barbara Dejonghe Jill Whiteley, Vi Drexler and Ruth Mclsaac. As a parting gift and reminder of Terrace Bay, Theresa received a painting of Lake Superior by local artist Audrey Ferguson, as well as a train case, subscription to Terrace Bay News and a scrap book depicting some of the highlights of her time in the two communities. Marston spoke to the members on her work during the past year and other Grand Chapter Officers were intro- duced. At the conclusion of the meeting, Mrs.M. Anderson and committee served lunch. Prior to the meeting, Grand Lodge Officers and members of Silver Birch Chapter enjoyed.a dinner held in St. John's Anglican Church in Schreiber. Mr.. A.Farrow P.P. was Master of Ceremonies. Grace was said by Mrs. A.Sin kins and was followed by a Toast to the Queen . The Toast to Grand Chapter was given by Mrs. S.Brown to which Worthy Grand Matron Mrs. H.R. Marston responded. Mrs. E.Beddard then toasted the visitors and Mrs.M. Shann on P.M. of Argyle Chapter #10 Port Arthur responded . Those who accompanied Mrs. Marston were: Mrs. M.MclIntyre, Mrs. Dorian Gegg, Mrs. Doris Smith, Mr. W.E. Manness . Concluding festivities Mrs. Marston drew the ticket for the quilt which was donated by Mrs. Forbes McAdam and won by Mrs. John Knight of Terrace Bay,
