MEETING HELD The Catholic Women's League held the last meeting June 11 before asummer recess in the Parish centre with twenty-five present, Mrs. Norah McGuire presiding. Mrs. E. Cocks spiritual convenor, reported two boxes of books sent to the Sanatorium in Fort William. Mrs. L. Morrow was appointed new education convenor. Mrs. P. Gagnon vol- unteered to take care of the parish library during the summer. Mrs. K. LeBlanc volunteered to super- vise the Parish Library beginning in September. Mrs. M. Communion breakfast will be served June 18, following 9:15 mass for First Communicants and parents. The members discussed entering a float in the July Ist. parade and a special meeting for this will be held Monday, June I9 th at 7.30 p.m. in the Parish Centre. Mrs. J.M. Mrs. Walter Gerow entertained at a birthday party for her son Darwin who was two years old Friday. Those present were grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. D. Martin, Miss Patsy Gerow, Mrs. H.Bain and childrer. All were aunts and cousins. Many campers from the Western provinces enroute to Expo, are registering in the village. Derworic of Yorkton, Saskatche wan accompanied by Mr. & Mrs. Don Hill of Regina Saskatchewan are here on vacation. Mr. & Mrs. D.W.Myces of Ruthland Center, Wisc. arrived Friday on a fishing trip and camping holiday. Mr. & Mrs. Mac Hubelit made a business trip to Port Arthur over the weekend.
