We have some coaches; however, we are faced with the per- petual problem of the lack of sufficient coaches and managers for these children. If you would like to see your children play softball this year, please at- tend a general, meeting this coming Friday in the large meeting room of the Recreation Centre at 7:00 P.M. The schedule is very short and should not interfere with your summer activities. We hope the boys and girls will start playing ball during. the first week in June and the playoffs should be finished by the end of the first week in July. If you feel reluctant to attend this meeting and of - fer your services because of inexperience, please be assured that instruction will be supplied by exper- ienced coaches and senior ball players. The children are quite enthusiastic about playing softball this year-- don't you be the one to let them down. -- TERRACE BAY AND SCHREIBER FASTBALL LEAGUE mn A three team league consisting of players from Schreiber and Terrace Bay will be playing a 24- game schedule starting on Monday, May 29 th at the Terrace Bay High School ball diamond. In the first game, ZENMAC will meet TEXACO on Mon- day, May 29th at 6:15 p.m. There are three teams-- ZENMAC, SHELL and TEXACO. Each team will play sixteen games.
