HOBBY SHOW OUTSTAN DING SUCCESS There was standing room only at the Scout Assoc- iation annual hobby show held in the town hall. District Commissioner, Roland Wills, attended and leaders were assisted by the group committee and Lions club members. The judges were Mrs. Lester McCuaig, R.B. During the evening Mrs. Dorothy Rummery and Mrs. Helen Dooley, who had given the course, presented First Aid badges to 52 cubs in the Panther*pack, 17: The Schreiber |' lads are the first in the Pic River district to' Care: these coveted badges. This show was an astounding success with the' pdbite realizing that such an endeavour could be 4 commun- ity effort. Local merchants were most generous with various donations and mothers of the boys supplied the bountiful lunch. Mr. & Mrs. Wolter Murphy, secant the Lion's club who sponsored the movement, received, with Mr. & Mrs. David Harrison, representing the group committee who assist in co-ordinating the activities ..
