TERRACE BAY NEWS Page > DISTRICT: PROG... _ CONSERVATIVES _ ELECT NEW EXECUTIVE A meeting of the Thunder Bay Riding _ Association was held in Nipigon last Sunday afternoon with thirty , delegates representing communities as far west as Atikokan and Dryden and east to Terrace Bay attending. Main item on the agenda was election of officers. T.Seppala retiring president, stepped down to allow G. Blanchard of Port Arthur to conduct this part of the meeting. The executive elected were: President S. Hodgkiss, Terrace Bay; Ist. Vice President B. White, Dryden; 2nd. Vice President R.Doust, Gerald ton; Secretary Treasurer G.O'Neil Nipigon; and Auditors: H. Fisher, Geraldton, Mrs. Vivian Sonie Terrace Bay. Among the items of business dealt with were appoint ment of five delegates to attend the Federal nomina- tion convention to be held in Tordhto in September. The Annual Boy Scout Father and Son Banquet' will be held Friday, May 26 in the Community Church at 6 p.m. sharp.
