MALE CHORUS PRESENTS SPRING CONCERT COUNCIL QUOTES A large and appreciative audience attended the annual Spring Concert of the Terrace Bay Male Chor- us last Friday night in the High School Auditorium. Guest artists were the Terrace Bay Band, directed by Mrs. Ellen Hodgkiss . Opening with the familiar theme song of the Assoc- iated Male Choruses of America, Salutation') the Chorus then presented four sacred numbers. Don Davey's fine baritone voice was heard as solo- ist in one selection. The Grade 11 and 12 students of Terrace Bay High School accompanied by their teacher, Mr. W.Le- May attended a session of Township Council on Monday night. Reeve Cavanaugh directed his opening remarks to them and before they left Rod Mecure conveyed their appreciation to Council. On behalf of the Community Services Committee Rev. T.G.Husser presented to Council a list of services it is possible to provide to troubled families in the community through the United Appeal Fund - (continued on Page 5) (continued on Page 7)
