Alternate Delegate Peter Frederickson, confirmed Mr. Payette's remarks and told of the social events arranged for them at the Convention. At this point Mr. Payette, on behalf of the Terrace Bay Credit Union presented a decorator clock to Mrs. Ruth Mitchell as a token of their appreciation for the work done and interest taken in the movement during her years as manager of the local office. Mrs. Mitchell thanked those present and wished the Credit Union continued success. Mr. Ziegelman then introduced Mr. John Zubic, Credit Union Field Representative from the Lakehead who thanked the local chapter for the invitiation extended to him and his wife and urged that the good work done locally be maintained. Wedgewood ashtray favors were given to each lady present and a draw for the lovely centrepiece at the head table was won by Mrs. Lois Knauff. The group later moved on to the Temple Hall where social activities had been arranged under the direct- ion of Mr. Vern Hopper . left to right - Mrs.H.Mitchell and Mr.and Mrs.dohn Zubic
