CENTENNIAL TREK TO LONGLAC The snowmobile trip planned by some Terrace Bay men is over and they hope to repeat the effort again next year. The trip, some ninety miles, took four days. One Ski-Doo, one Sno-Bug and three Sno- Cruisers were used on the safari and no machine trouble developed. C.W. L. MEETING HELD The regular meeting was held Sunday, March 12 in St.Martin's Hall. Mrs. Y.Boudreau, President, opened the meeting with League prayers. Reports were read and adopted. A letter was read by Mrs. Helmink regarding the Tinderbox which will be held April 17, urging members to support the Centennial Project. Mrs. E.Kettle necnesred ladies to helo with the combined Brownie Guides Banquet taking place at the Moose Hall, April I2. Mrs. Boudreau presented a farewell gift to Mrs. Gayle Marquis from the League. A donation was sent to the Sacred Heart Program and a nominating committee was formed after which the meeting was adjourned. The Community Church Ladies Auxil- iary joi ned the League members in viewing a film shown by Mr. Kenney on Governor General Van- ier. Lunch was served by Mrs. Gaudet and her committee.
