CBC TELEVISION RE-BROADCASTING STATION IN SEPTEMBER A letter recently received in Marathon from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, stated that tentative date for the TV Re-broadcasting station at Marathon to go on the air has been set for Sept- ember, 1967. The station will operate on Channel 11 and the equipment will be colour capable. Site of the station has been selected at Neys Park and all minor power difficulties have now been over- come, so that service for Marathon.on the east and Schreiber on the west, should be available on the scheduled date. This is great news and is couched in layman's language . The Marathon station will be programmed off air from another re-broadcasting station at White River which, in turn, will be pro- grammed off air from a station connected to the Nat- ional Network located in the vicinity of Geraldton.
