First reported in the Ottawa Journal, and picked up by the Pentecostal Testimony, the story is about Bethel Pentesostal Church in Ottawa. z Mrs. Mary Maley, 90, of that city began writing the 100th Psalm as her part of her church's plan to reproduce the Bible by hand. Bethel Pentecostal's pastor, Rev. Gordon R. Upton, and pro- ject co-ordinator, Robert Howie, presented Mrs. Maley with the first official page of the giant 18 x 14 - inch Bible. Rev. Mr. Upton said 1,189 past and present members of the church will take part in the pro- ject. Each individual will re produce one chapter of the Bible. School at 2 p.m. every Sunday Some former members of the congregation are located as far away as East Africa, Taiwan and Argentina and they will receive their share through the mail. The project was started several weeks ago, and is expected to be completed by the Fall of this year. Once the Bible, which will be seven or eight inches thick, is completed it will occupy a posi- . tion of honour in the main foyer of the church.
