They are repairing the rink house, fence and goal posts for hockey and skating action. Parents and others interested are meeting in the near future to see how they can assist the children. Other centennial projects in the village are: roof- ing and improving the Hall; a Grotto made of ame- thyst stone, floodtights and flowers at St.Berchman's R.C «Church; Curling Rink improvements. Another project worth consideration would be home and fences as well as yards improved to make our village more attractive. Canadians should rejoice in the richness of their land as they look forward to its 100th birthday. Planning and carrying out Centennial projects has helped individuals, old and young, to be more aware of the beauty and uniqueness of their own commun- ity.
