October 20, 1966 ROSSPORT NEWS Mr.and Mrs. Mac Hubelit enter- tained Saturday at their home in honour of their son Lionel and his bride, the former Olga Mae Holi- naty, daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Geo.Holinaty of Poplar Bluff, Sask . The dining room and parlour were decorated with white and pink streamers and bells for the occasion. The young couple were married last Saturday at Wawa. For the reception Mrs. M.Hube- lit chose the green lame suit which she wore, with black accessories, at the wedding and a corsage of white and yellow mums. Assisting in welcoming the -many guests were the bride and groom, the former wearing a green and gold French Knit suit with black acces- sories and a corsage of yellow mums The luncheon table was draped with an Italian lace cloth center- ed with gold and white mums and white candles in crystal bowl and sconces and was presided over by Mrs.Leonard Ibey. Serving the guests were Mrs.Herb Legault, Mrs .Peterchuk and Mrs .Felix Le- gault. Attending the punch bowl was Joseph J .Fowler, The bride and groom left Sunday for Saskatchewan where the bride's parents are holding an open recep - | tion for them on October 22nd. On their return they will reside in Wawa where the groom is em- ployed by the Dept.of Highways. Out of town guests attending the reception were Mrs.G.Knorr, Mrs.M.Gerow, Alvin Abbott, Chas.Gerow of Fort William, D. Holinaty of Wawa, J.Severne of Wawa, Mr.and Mrs. A.Salardos of Wawa, Mr.and Mrs.L .Legault 'of Terrace Bay, and Mr.and Mrs. S .Petrushak of Schreiber. TERRACE BAY NEWS 21YRS OLD? Mr sand Mrs.Mac Hubelit left Tues- day to visit relatives at the Lakehead and in Sheho, Sask. Mr .Harry Bain left Monday for Dawson Court, Port Arthur, for the winter. Mr.and Mrs. W.Angrove left for their home in Fort William after spen- ding the summer season at their home here. The Bouchard children of Rossport found a large bird near their home wit an injured wing. It appears to be a member of the gull family and has bee banded by F & Wildlife of U.S.A. which asks that they be contacted in WAshington, D.C. This the children are doing.
