LOIS SHUBALY WINS GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP Battling high winds and occasional showers, Lois Shubaly scored an impressive 58-54 (112) to capture the Joe Adamo Trophy, emblematic of the Ladies Club Championship. Lois and Peggy Wellings carded 58's for the first round but Lois surged to the front over the back nine and never relinquished the lead. Runner up was Ellen Campbell. First low net was tied - Marg. Hayes and Marie Edmunds. Other prize winners were - High Hole, Phyl Kelty - Low Net, first nine, Isabel Ferrier - Low Gross, first nine, Peggy Wellings - Low Gross second nine, |.Adamo - Low Net, second nine, Ivy Pattison.
