R.«HALES ELECTED LT.GOVERNOR OF KIWANIS Once again, the most easterly town in Wes- tern Canada, Terrace Bay, has the honour of being the home of a newly-elected Lieutenant-Governor of Kiwanis International . At the recent convention held in Calgary, Bob Hales was elected Lieutenant-Governor of Division 1 Western Canada, which includes Fort Frances, Atikokan, West Fort William, Port Arthur, Fort Wil- liam and Terrace Bay Kiwanis Clubs. Beginning January 1967 Lieutenant-Governors' Boards will meet with Governor Jack McKeag of Winnipeg to handle affairs for Kiwanis Clubs of Wes- tern Canada. Mr.Hales new appointment will in- volve him in a good deal of travelling. In November ber he will attend a training conference in Regina and the International Conference will be held in Texas next year. An aggregate of sixteen or more points resulted in the winning of gift vouchers and merchandise for fourteen fortunate exhibitors, including:- Mrs. M.
