CARIBOU HERD STUDY STARTS SEPTEMBER 7TH The Kimberly-Clark Pulp and Paper Company has been advised by the Ontario Depar tment of Lands and Forests that an International joint study of the caribou herd of the Kimberly-Clark property on the Slate Islands will be made commencing September 7th and continuing for a ten day period. The party will be headed up by six or seven prominent scientists including biologists from both Ontario and Wisconsin. The purpose of the study is to improve the strain by removing some and intro- ducing others to achieve a mix in the herd. Their base of operations will be the Kimberly-Clark docking area and cabin.
