Sub-lieutenant H.Hamilton will undertake an in- docrination course in the near future at HMCS "Naden". Lieutenant J.Cumming, C.O. of RCSCC Superior will travel to Comox on Sunday to take part in the training program and to accompany the cadets on their return journey. Mrs .C .Sim of Sarnia with Donald, Cathy, Bobby and Karen, are visiting her parents, Mr.and Mrs. Don Boudreau. Mr.and Mrs.Phil Broadhurst have their daughter, Mrs .Ted Petter and two children, from Stayner, Ont. visiting them for the month of July. Mrs. W.Lovett has her mother, Mrs.George Barry and friend Mrs Cherry, visiting from Toronto. Mrs. Lovett's daughter Donna is also home on holiday. Visiting Mrs.Aggie Sinkins are Mr.and Mrs.Don Anderson, Ken and Donna from Dryden and Mrs. Mary Duguid from Port Arthur. Mr .and Mrs.T .Beaulieu of Kapuskasing are visit- ing Mr.and Mrs .Roger Beaulieu. JERRY PALMER TO APPEAR HERE SATURDAY . Former Lakehead resident, Jerry Palmer, will appear in Terrace Bay Saturday, July 23rd at the Arena. Jerry, accompanied by his band "The In- truders" is an up and coming star now working from Hollywood, Calif. for Gaiety Records. THE NEWS July 21, 1966 ACCIDENT CLAIMS LIFE OF ROSSPORT MAN The entire district was shocked to learn las week of a tragic auto accident which took the life of a young Man, Robert (Bobbie) Legault, aged 21, son of Mr.and Mrs.Felix Legault of Rossport. The ac- cident occurred near Lidsay, Ontario where Bobby has resided for the past three years. Funeral services were conducted in St.Berchman's Church in Rossport on Monday, July I8th. Officia- ting clergy were Very Rev. Dean E.A.Gallagher of Terrace Bay and Rev. G.Epoch, acting parish priest at Schreiber. Pallbearers were Bruce Young and Joseph Kenney of Terrace Bay, Russell Brueley of Port Arthur, Patrick Cole, David Gemmill, and Douglas Tangua of Lindsay. Roger Auger of Rossport was usher. Miss Anna Fummerton of Schreiber played the organ and accompanied the soloist, Miss Crystal Kusik. Bobby attended elementary school in Rossport and High School in Terrace Bay. A gifted musician he often sang at school activities and was a member of Terrace Bay Male Chorus. After graduating from Grade XIII in Lindsay, Bobby pursued his musical career and for a time headed his own orchestra. In June 1965 they filled an engagement at the Parkmount Hotel in Port Arthur. For several months he worked at the Bank of Commerce in Lindsay. This past year, singing under the name 'Bobbie Lee' he was lead vocalist with a popular rhythm and blues group known as the Jaguar Boys. Attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs.Joseph King of Port Arthur, Mr.and Mrs. Ray Kenney and Colleen, Mr.and Mrs. Joseph Kenney of Terrace Bay, Mr.Albert Watts and San- dra of Fort William, Mr.and Mrs.Vernon Huller and family of Aylmer, Ontario, Mr.and Mrs. John Buzzie of Port Arthur, Mrs.Joe Dusone of Fort William, Mr.and Mrs.J.Campbell and family and Mr.and Mrs.Lester Legault and family of Terrace Bay. Mrs. C .Todesco is a patient in a Lakehead hos- pital. I expect to pass through life but once.
