Canada- U.S. Goodwill Week in 1966 is scheduled for the period of April 24 to April 30. Founded in Detroit in 1915, iat i a Canadian vais in Hamilton, Ontario a year later. W.. Maurice S. J. Mrs. Auger died April 16. She was predeceased by her hus- band, Paul in 1951, daughter Mary (Mrs. Thomas Wesley) in 1954, and two sons, Steven in 1961 and Frederick: in: 1963. Surviving are sons, Joseph of Geraldton and Patrick at home, daughters, Margaret. (Mrs, Con- way) ahd Clara (mrs. Cass Hor- fishney) both of Red Rock; 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Spring colors and pussywillows were used to decorate the hall and gay bouquets of fern and daffodils adored the tea tables. The guests were greeted by the president, Mrs. Herb.Legault and Mrs.Felix Legault took the ad- mission. Mrs.Mac Hubelit was in charge of the Bake Table, Mrs.C .Todesco was at the Sewing Table and the Novelties were sold by Mrs. Bill Hubelit. Tea was poured by Mrs.P.Testori and Mrs .Romeo Bouchard from 4 table covered with a hand crochet- ed cloth. The driftwood centrepiece was later give as a draw prize. Servitors were the Misses Joyce Mushqush, Nancy and Carol Lestanski, Diane Campbell and Patsy Gerow. Take-out orders of cabbage rolls and spaghetti were dispensed by Mrs. Eugene Gerow and kitchen duties were cared for by Mrs.Lestanski, Mrs.Ray Kenney, Mrs.W.Schel- ling. The three-layer cake was won by R.Sinotte of Terrace Bay, Father Cano won the centrepiece and $5 was won by Eddie Page. Carol Hubelit won the door prize.
