In the Bantam game Terrace Bay defeated Manitouwadge 5-3 with Paul Papousek scoring a hat trick for the locals and single goals going to Gordie Phillips and T.Knight. The Manitouwadge scoring was distributed bet ween Paulouvoski, Acourt and Godiski. In the evening game Schreiber Bantams outclassed Manitouwadge by 6 - |. On Sunday afternoon T. Bay Bantams edged Manitouwadge 5-4. Scoring for Terrace were Phillips with 2 goals, Reinette with 2 and a single going to Turner. For Manitouwadge Jackimanski with 2 goals and Passi with 2 goals. Lawrence Mushqush has returned. from a five day Indian Folk School of Thunder Bay instruction held at Nipigon. Miss Caroline Mushqush is attending school at Port Arthur. Messrs. B.Lapenski, Borlier and A.Bull were busi- ness visitors to Geraldton this week. Douglas Hunt was a Lakehead visitor during the week. Russell Gerow of Port William was home over the weekend. Rev .Father Maurice of Port Arthur visited Pays Plat Mission on Sunday. FUNERAL NOTICE - WOOD - In the city of Prince Rupert, Friday, December 31, 1965, Ray Asa, age 63 years. MORE CURLING NEWS - Team Standings After three rounds of curling Lou Duquette and his quartette are top dogs with 134 points. Ken Johnson is two games behind Lou with 120 points. The rest of 'A' Division - Crockford, MacDonald, McLeod, West and Beddard, are all three games be- hind Lou. Since the next round is the final club champion- ship round, the odds are certainly with the Duquette rink.
