LAKEHEAD SEA CADET 70 PIECE February 3, 1966 At the present time we do not see too many ice sculp-f tures and feel that many do not know where to start. The recipe is very simple--just mound your snow and wet it with water to slush. As soon as it starts freezing, shape it with a shovel or by hand into any form you wish. However, you should keep in mind that you should start working with some type of theme or particular shape. Once you have your final shape the finishing touches can be done with an axe or hatchet. Prizes for snow sculpting are Ist - $10 - 2nd, $7.50 and 3rd $5.00. Please sub- mit entry forms to the Rec .Office before Feb.é6th. OUTDOOR EVENTS - The outdoor programme will commence at 1:30 p.m. at the Athletic Ball Field. SNOWSHOE RACES - There will be open races for boys and girls, ladies and men--all ages.
