FORMER TERRACE BAY MAN RECEIVES DEGREE Word was received from the University of Tennes- see today that a former resident, Robert B.Biesenthal received his DDS at commencement exercises on Sunday afternoon, December |9th. Dr. Biesenthal's sister, Mrs. K.J.Weppler resides in Terrace Bay. His wife, the former Doris Hansford was a nurse at Terrace Bay Private Hospital. His parents, Mr.and Mrs. R.Biesenthal of Fort William. SPEAKING OF THE MAIL Just received a nice letter from former resident Lois Downey who says "The mails must be really queer up there. We got the Nov.I8 issue on Dec. 2, the Dec.2 issue arrived on the 4th and both the Nov.25th and Dec.9 ones arrived yesterday, the 11th." On Dec .12th they made a trip to the beach-- and think it queer trying to picture Christmas in that weather. The mums and masturtiums are still blooming -- and--they cut the lawn more in winter than they do in summer! MORE LETTERS FROM THE U.S.A.
