Mrs. Gladys Madigan was accepted into membership by transfer from the Chapleau Lodge. Mrs. Chris Morris reported for the C. P. and T, Committee that an overbed table had been added to the supplies available for bor- rowing for invalids. Members were reminded that subscriptions to the Rebekah paper may be secured through the Secretary. An invitation was received to the Christ- mas party at the IOOF Home in Barrie, Ontario. Among the many relations attending the wedding was an uncle of the bride, Joe Pickering, who at one time had been secretary in the White River YMCA, and since his return to England, a manager in the famous Harrod's store in London. Mr. and Mrs. Leadbeater now live in White River, CURLING NEWS Thirteen rinks were entered in the mixed Bonspiel over the week-end. Jack Chapman was Chairman of the event and he and his rink won the turkeys. The Koski rink took home chickens, In the Consolation Event, the Thor Olsen rink won chickens, The Saturday Night Social was one of the best ever. Entertainment was povided by Herb.
