Mr. G.N.Hodgson, Registrar at the Ontario Vocational Centre in Sault Ste.Marie will be the guest speaker . A cordial invitation is extended to parents of students and all interested persons to attend. A tea and reception will be held afterwards for graduates, prize winners and parents. The Students' Council 'is host for the dance for graduates following the re- ception. The Terrace Bay Figure Skating Club will feature an Opening Day Tea and Skating session on Sunday, November 7. The skating will be from one to three in the afternoon with tea being served in the Old Curling Lounge from two to four. Mrs.lvy Pattison and members of the club's executive will be on hand to answer questions and accept registrations. The Terrace Bay Brownies are now accepting regis- trations of girls seven years old. Bible Study every first and third Sunday at 11.00 A.M. TALKS ON PROVINCES HEARD BY AUXILIARY Mrs .Lois Hopper presided Monday evening as the Ladies Auxiliary met in the Terrace Bay Community Church. Mrs.lsobel Ferrier accompanied the open- ing hymn and Mrs.Norine Coe led the Worship period Secretary's report and correspondence were read by Mrs.June Schritt and the treasurer's report by Mrs .Betty Turner. Committee Convenors reporting were Mrs.Betty Sweet for Sick and Visiting. Mrs. Shirley Hersey for Programs, announced the Decem- ber meeting would include the gentlemen of the congregation. Mrs.Helen Farrell reported on the Bazaar to be held Saturday, November 20 and that babysitting service will be provided by the girls of the C.G.1.T. She solicited good used toys and book for the Children's Touch and Take table and Mrs. Pattison and Mrs.McCausland are still accepting orders for Christmas cakes. A motion was passed to purchase a lounge chair for the'Manse. Mrs.Gertrude Soughton agreed to attend the meeting on November I7 of the Centen- nial Committee. Mesdames Lois Hopper, Audrey Smith and Aggie Sinkins offered to cater to the Commencement Tea Friday, November 5. The program was turned over to Mrs.Lynn Wilson who spoke on Saskatchewan and introduced Mrs. Margaret Phillips to speak on Alberta then Mrs.June Schritt concluded with a talk on British Columbia.
